Boss Me, FANG: A Paranormal Romantic Comedy (Monster Haven)

What can I say without giving to much away. hmmm

Loved the interaction between Veronica and Keeland. There was a story but it was second to the two main characters. Story was told from alternating points of view of Veronica and Keeland which I liked. Loved the idea surrounding of an island where all supernatural beings can live freely without limitations. Would of loved for the story to have been longer all the same.

Will definitely check out any other stories in the series.

I would give the book 4 out of 5 stars.

Driving Mr. Dead (Half-Moon Hollow #1.5)

Kindle Edition180 pages
Published January 31st 2012 by Pocket Star (first published December 27th 2011)

Found on kindle, I paid 2.57 for it, and it wasn't a waste of money.

Miranda is everything I wish I was aside from all her bad luck. Seems like trouble follows her but she is more then capable of handling anything that comes her way. She is a no nonsense women that will speak her mind and take on anyone, human and immortal alike. She is fearless when it comes to most things. She just so happens to be a chauffeur for vampires but one vampire in particular will test all her skills just to get the job done.

Miranda and Collins interaction is everything you would want in more. You know where it is going but the ride getting there is the best part.

Would love to read more about these two.

I would give the book 4 out of 5 stars.

The Secret Diary Of Detective Vampire (Interracial Paranormal Vampire Romance BWWM)

Kindle Edition119 pages
Published February 19th 2014
by J.J. Jones

Let me get one thing out of the way first, dam cliffhanger ending, grrrrr.

The book is short one about 119 pages. It was a free kindle find. It is the first part of the "Detective Vampire" Trilogy. The other two are less then 100 pages each. But don't let the lack of pages fool you. It is a great story.

Love how each of the 12 chapters have a title that pertains to something that will be said in that chapter. Didn't put two and two together about this till a few chapters in, after that I couldn't wait to see how it was used.

The main characters Detective Jack Van Pierre and Olivia are both likable and to say that Jack is mysteries is putting it mildly. You keep reading just wanting to know more about him and how he interacts with other. Oh and you got to love his brand of justice to those he deems unworthy who are walking around free.

I was able to read it in a few nights, which for me is an accomplishment. My reading time is scarce to say the least. But I kept finding time, wanting to see what happens next.

Can't wait to read the next installments of the series.

I would give the book 4 out of 5 stars.

The Pretenders (The Cemetery Girl Trilogy, #1)

Graphic novel
Hardcover128 pages
Published January 7th 2014 b
by Charlaine Harris, Christopher Golden

I have read only one other graphic novel which was Anne Rice's The Vampire Lestat and that was some time ago. But since this was the only way to read the book I took a chance.

Anyway I really enjoyed Book 1 The Pretenders and will be looking forward to the rest of the series. The story kept me reading wanting to know what was going to happen next. The art work was good as well, did not need to use my imagination which was a treat.

Would highly recommend the series to anyone that likes suspense and mystery, don't let the graphic part scare you. Will not hesitate to try other graphic novels, just hope they live up as well as this one did.

I would give the book 4 out of 5 stars.
